The Hamakom synagogue leaders need to read the story of the Frog and the Scorpion.

Yes, you read that right. It wasn’t the mosque that covered up the pictures of Israeli hostages. It was the synagogue leadership, showing that they were so avid to build bridges with the Muslim group that they were willing to abandon their own principles and basic standards of human decency to do so.

It is past time for the Jewish community to get in touch with their righteous wrath, before it is too late. “Reaching out” to people who hate you and want to kill you means you will lose your hand. If you survive at all.

But we should not take that literally. Just as no one needed to take Nazi proclamations literally. It’s all just talk… until it isn’t. Then very bad things happen.
