As I was reading this, I was thinking to myself "This has to be Montgomery County." I see my suspicions were confirmed.

"This has to be Montgomery County."
I grew up in Montgomery County in the 1930s-1940s. Me grandfather bought the family estate from the Carroll family (Bishop John Carroll/Charles Carroll of Carrollton) in the late 19th Century. It was a very different place when I was growing up.
