First, don’t for get the super delegates and 2nd, Al Gore is still available. The Chicago convention is going to be chaos.
Kamala is a woman. Jamaican and Indian is not black.

The DNC changed the rules. The superdelegates can no longer vote on the first ballot. So they cannot stop Biden if he really wants the nomination…
…unless the DNC changes the rules yet again, and at the last minute. That would certainly anger the “I’m with Joe” Democrats out there. And there’s still a lot of them. They either don’t know how ill Biden is, or they don’t care.

Michelle Obama seems so unlikely. Presidenting is hard. Why put herself in that position, the work, the criticism, the lack of privacy. The beaches closest to the Oval Office are pretty shabby.
Kamala Harris is the most logical alternative to Biden and yes, she’s not their dream choice. Voters don’t feel it.
But for sure Biden should hang up his spurs asap.
If they’re reasonable (I know...) they’ll find someone else at the convention, that is, shortly before.
Everyone’s ruling out RFK but it wouldn’t surprise me. He’s got the name, the luster (I know...) and aside from some unconventional ideas about vaccines, he’s a standard leftist and probably “controllable.”
They might have better options, in Dem eyes, but nobody as well-known as Kennedy. Would he go along? Oh yeah, he surely would.
So my picks are:
Winner by a whisker: Kennedy
2nd: Harris
3rd: Newsom
Scratched: Biden, lame on the way to the gate.
