The media could spin a win by Michelle as entirely plausible. The Democrats could cheat her into a win and anyone who questions the victory will be a racist and misogynist.
I have seen many names bandied but what about Jill Biden as President? Does she get enough sympathy votes for taking care of her ailing husband and receive plaudits in her time of crisis?
Look for something to happen at the Democrat convention.
Joe is going to have so many pledge delegates to vote for him that his nomination is assured. But if Joe bows out at the convention, or sometime before then ,all of those convention delegates become free agents.
I could imagine they would orchestrate this whole thing that at the time of the convention , Joe decides he’s going to retire, they turn the convention into a big retirement party for Joe, and then the powers that be behind the scenes will decide who’s going to be nominated.
Yesterday, someone commented if they are going to stick with Kamala, then we should start seeing pro-Kamala articles this week. The article will have the slant of how Harris “has grown into the job” over the past three years.

Yes, we here at FreeRepublic have made these comments and we know them to be true. But, most Democrats and many independents do not know these things.

Well, okay. But it would be interesting to hear a bit more details on that from the author. If Biden (or his wife) wants it, he’s got the 2024 D nomination. He will have way more than enough delegates to win in the first round of voting.
So what does the author propose?

Quite true. Each of these things has been talked about a lot here on Free Republic, but has not been discussed in the mainstream media.
No way “heels up” will be the nominee. She’s been exposed to the public too much. My guess is “Big Mike” at the last minute. The shock and awe of her running along with some strategic fraud will push her to the finish line. There won’t be enough time to vet her policies and in the end she will just continue what Biden has already put in play - Manage the decline of America.

You’d think so. And so did I. But I recently did a check of the DNC rules. They’re very complicated. From what I can tell, if a candidate bows out as you suggested, at least some of his delegates are given to D candidates still in the race. And I believe there are other candidates, minor ones.
Better for Joe to bow out after he wins the nomination. Then the DNC has a free hand to pick his replacement. But suppose Jill Biden talks her husband out of that?
Maybe the Democraps will replace Kamala with Nikki Haley... /not sarc
This is yet another article about "Democrats scared to death of losing 2024." It's a load of bunk.
Biden did not win 2020. It was stolen with cheat-by-mail-in ballots. NOTHING has been done about cheat-by-mail-in ballots (they were used to steal Kari Lake's election in 2022). Biden will "win" 2024 with 100 million "votes" this time.
And if you think that Democrats would never be so brazen as to cheat again, then you haven't been paying attention. They got away with the Steal in 2020 with zero consequences because RINOs turned a blind eye to the cheating and Trump's legal challenges are still in the lower courts.
And if you think that the "cheat margin" in 2024 will be too great to overcome, then you don't understand how cheat-by-mail-in ballots work. They will slow-walk the count for over a week until enough mail-in are found/produced to put Biden ahead.
The Democrats are not panicking.
