In short the author recommends that th EU continues the destructive practices that are destroying agricultural economics and just pay the farmers government subsidies looted from the other segments of the population. All for the fantasy of climate change and the fraudulent net zero. I would predict that food prices are going to go through the roof, and the EU will add more regulation that make matters worse. What ought to happen is the people revolt against the tyranny in Brussels, drag the politicians out and hang them from the lampposts. But that didn’t happen in Venezuela and probably won’t happen in Europe.

Some of the EU governments are actually backing off on the proposed legislation and walking some prior efforts back - they’re becoming aware that the “well, we’ll just get food from Ukraine” option isn’t there any more and they’re on a pretty thin margin without it.
