I cancelled my home insurance. Never used it in 50 years. My risk of fire is very small. Not worth paying home insurance. I don’t even have a side walk in front of house, so how can someone fall down on my side walk? Basically we pay premiums so smokers can get reimbursed when they burn house down.

“My risk of fire is very small.”

I keep a fire extinguisher near the entrance to the kitchen.

And to think I just spent a week cleaning up the house so I could take 35-30 photos to qualify for the new homeowners policy.

Last summer my area got hard punched by a storm. Part of my roof came off. Hurray for insurance. Got a new high tech foam roof, that’s better insulation. Insurance is nice.
