We don’t lack the ability to destroy them. This administration lacks the will to do so. The last time we got serious with Iran we wiped our 2/3 of their Navy in an afternoon.

1988 USA is largely deceased. I agree there is a wide chasm between Iran’s military capability and ours, but we won’t use it.
That, essentially, is as useful as not having the military capability advantage.
