In before all the “cruise ships are petri dishes full of disease” by people that have never been on one. 😂

“Out of about 2,700 passengers and crew, 135 were sickened on Cunard Line’s Queen Victoria”
Which means 95% were unaffected.

Weren’t some of the earliest detected covid cases on a cruise ship? I believe they were. Now another unknown illness. On a cruise ship. Hm.

Yep- a relative in a other state just got over a flu where he was throwing up 16 times in a day, mostly dry heaves. He hasn’t thrown up in over 40 years he said, but this flu really got him.

“...on Cunard Line’s Queen Victoria”
So much for going on Queen Victoria, but LUCKILY there are many other cruise ships to choose from.
(don’t laugh, we do that all the time to rationalize our decisions, like thinking that our local public school doesn’t do those horrible things like Grooming)

Starting to think if you were a bad guy and you wanted to seed a bad thing... you’d do it on a cruise ship. Incubate on the ship, and then send everyone home... all over the country.

In the olden days it was called "Montezuma's Revenge". It's caused by the bacteria in the water that the passengers don't necessarily have to drink but it can be in the water used to clean the vegetables.
We experienced it every time my family vacationed in Honduras. Fortunately, my brother-in-law (who was Honduran), brought a supply of the necessary antibiotic pills and as soon as we started feeling the symptoms, we would take the pills and that was the end of that......
