There is no question that the presence of the Older Sister Complaint Department AKA Taylor Swift has increased the number of women watching NFL games and given rise to various conspiracy theories about the NFL. Just the other day on the Rich Eisen Show, Rich took off his long-time buddy Chris Brockman's head
on the air for suggesting that the NFL was scripting Taylor Swift questions for its reporters. Brockman is not Vivek last time I checked. On top of that are reports that her followers, the Swifties, will blindly vote for whomever she endorses.
Vivek surely is spouting conspiracy theories, but he's also doing the work of a good campaign operative in saying things that the candidate cannot and should not. By bringing this up, it may get some, admittedly only some, of those Swifties to think about how they're not just following her every move, but being talked about by everyone because they just follow her every move and whether they actually should especially when it comes to Joe Biden.
