EXCLUSIVE Is this the most dangerous square mile in America? Crime hotspot in Oakland where gas stations and In-N-Out are hit by brazen car thieves dozens of times EVERY DAY - but cops say they are powerless to stop it
Back in 1978 I owned a logistics company based in Fremont, California. Twice a week we sent 2 trucks north into Oakland.
It was a miserable Hellhole even back then. If the driver/driver helper didn’t lock the roll up door on the trailers as they moved product from the vehicles to the customers in just the short time it took to walk 50 feet or so they would return to find the trailers being looted, generally by very young, under 18, groups of feral 13%’ers.
I eventually stopped going into Oakland and at the same time San Jose, which at the time was much more dangerous than Oakland.
