In case of internal conflict, this time all the firearms manufacturers will be in the South.
Remington has been adrift and dying for decades.
They could resurface in Huntsville, Alabama, and away from the Unions. Redstone Arsenal has plenty of people that no longer work there that could revitalize the company and make a quality product. Any weapons manufacturer left in NY has got to have a mental management problem.
So how exactly is Remington liable for the Sandy Hook shooting? Did it walk into the school all by itself and start shooting? Or did a deranged shooter do the dead?
Remington has been split up into various companies way before this.
The Sandy Hook parents won the “Ghetto Lottery”.
Hochul will probably use it to house migrants - the weapons Dems use to attack America.
This is theft by government. The government is *STEALING* that money.
What a shame, it's not like a product liability suit. The liability was with the shooter, or those who allowed the shooter access to a weapon he should not have. Or a school that failed to protect students.

It is a sad fact of life that companies are voting with their feet and moving to locations where politicians don’t constantly oppose their actions.
So the gun manufacturer is held liable for what a deranged killer did. When will car manufacturers get hit with liability when it’s a drunk driver? Or for that matter the alcohol company for what he consumed? Oh wait, can they sue the mother for giving birth to the culprit? /s

As I recall, he was a seriously mentally disturbed. He never should have been allowed any access whatsoever to firearms. The weak link in the chain was his own Mother. She enjoyed shooting sports AND was overly trusting of her unhinged son. She both taught him how to shoot and, if I remember correctly, allowed him ready access to her own guns.
Excellent! Move it to America. But they shouldn’t have caved to that filthy lawsuit.
Of course they left New York. Cost of doing business and an old outdated facility caused it. It had nothing to do with Sandy Hook. They would have left regardless.
