Normally I wouldn't bother but I figured some of us need a good chuckle this morning. I didn't bother to count the "could, may, might, if, possible, would, should" words in this tripe. On the plus side, if your city never hosted a jerkfest like cop29 you "should" be safe from inundation. Did not see a mention of how much muvver erf has warmed since the last ice age not that long ago in the scheme of things. Or even how much it warmed from then until just before "industrial" levels. I really REALLY dislike these assclowns. Sadly, there are plenty fidiots that buy this crap.

Well, at least for the US, other than the Florida Panhandle, what’s the downside?

and how the window to slash climate pollution is “rapidly narrowing.”

And the focus group says:

Now it is climate pollution.

If the Poles melted wouldn’t everything at the Equator burst into flames or would it rain like never before with all the new clouds that cooled the planet and freeze the poles ,LOL

It’s a great visual— Dubai’s “Palm” island built at current sea level— inundated by the coming Ice Age. The meme should show mile wide very flat beaches so one could walk from “frond” to frond and on the outside have to walk a mile to get to sea water.

Either way— Dubai is a liar in chief on “globull warming” climate change concern from an OIL rich and enriched, nation of do nothings with slave labor forces doing all their work.
Truth. John f’n Kerry likes the place, and so does Kamel Toe.

--- "a new analysis"

That's because the old ones haven't got enough rubes fooled yet. Besides, new analyses mean continued employment for the new analysis writers.

Isn't it interesting that so many institutes and think tanks and media businesses are busy telling what the year after next year will be like, and the century after this one.... It's getting hot and / or cold in here....

Using peer-reviewed sea level rise projections and local elevation from Climate Central’s models

ie worthless, make believe fantasies with zero basis in reality.

The analysis from Climate Central, a nonprofit climate research group, illustrates the risk if countries fail to halt the planet’s precipitous warming trend. A recent UN report showed the world is currently on track to warm up to 2.9 degrees.

BS. Climate Control relies on the UN for its existence and the UN wants to "sell" this crap. Since 1880, we have warmed 1°C. So we have about 350 years before we reach the 3° change these clowns suggest.

https://www.jpl.nasa.gov/edu/teach/activity/graphing-global-temperature-trends/

And that conclusion assumes that nature doesn't reverse the trend by itself as it has in the past. Someone needs to tell Chicken Little (i.e., the UN) to STFU.

Back in the 1980’s it was reported that the sea levels were rising and very soon, beachfront properties would be flooded. There is beach erosion but the sea levels are still the same.

This is ridiculous.

Climate Central founded by Jane Lubchenko who is now at the Biden White House.
Report: According to the National Academy of Sciences, Jane Lubchenco, a renowned marine biologist and White House climate adviser, was sanctioned for five years for errors in a published paper she edited in 2020. The organization has barred her from publishing in its acclaimed journal and participating in group activities.
The move relates to Lubchenco’s editing of a paper about fisheries that was later retracted. Journal editors reviewed the paper after publication and found data errors that overestimated the potential impact of expanding ocean fishery protections. Editors also noted that Lubchenco had a personal relationship with one of the article’s authors – a violation of the journal’s editorial policies.

These places were supposed to be underwater by 2000. We were being screamed at then by 2000 this would happen.

Peer reviewed sea level predictions just means that they all agree with each other. I don’t think even one peer actually thinks sea levels are going down. Meanwhile the sea levels don’t rise in any perceptible way. We have only predictions that begin tomorrow and then accelerate rapidly.

Well we know that certain locations around the world will be spared!

Montecito area property with ocean-views will be fine thanks to Al Gore owning a house there.

Rehoboth Beach will be fine thanks to Joe Biden owning a house there.

Thanks for the efforts of Barack, both Martha's Vineyard and Waimanalo on the island of Oahu will be spared!

Note that Martha’s Vineyard has double protect thanks to also having John Kerry's beach front home....

Seas have risen before. Humans moved inland. We’re clever that way on our good days.

But when rising sea levels are mentioned, I like to bring up The Broomway, a path and right-of-way in England that gets flooded by high tides twice a day, making it rather hazardous. It’s been in use for the last 6 or 7 hundred years.
