I visited all three countries within the past 8 years and this was a topic which all were in agreement. They didn’t like the entire concept of the EU. In fact they had nothing to say in it’s favor.

Your anecdotal evidence is next to worthless. Your blatant confusion about the U.K. "never having joined" the E.U. already disqualified you from trumpeting your misinformed views on these matters.
