He has very little control over any of this. Most of the taxes in Florida are local levies, and the state is struggling to keep insurance companies from leaving the state. If you want to assign blame on insurance premiums you need to blame weather, geography and the proliferation of personal injury attorneys.
What does your personal view about DeSantis have to do with this topic, I understand Rumpsters have a hard time following a subject but you paying taxes has nothing to do with this topic
