The translations of the Holy Quran

— there is no such book. there is only the koran, the hadiths, and sunnahs.

Seems to depend on who translates it.

In Gutenberg it is spelled "Koran", elsewhere, more recently, I've seen it more with a "Qu".

Either one, in English phonics sounds similar to the other.

I wonder which one most English speaking Muslims would prefer?

Arabic - all other versions are perversions of the original. The koran (small ‘k’ because it is a political cult, not a religion).

The koran wad copied some 200 years after Mohammad fled Mecca and was assassinated (likely in Medina [the far mosque]) from wall hangings and scrolls from the original old Syriac. ‘Official’ copies, since the original compilation, keep all the imperfections, notes, stains, etc.
