I don’t think they fear him. They can’t stand him. I suspect he pissed many off and they don’t want to deal with a jerk (in their minds). Who here would vote for a guy to become the boss at work who you don’t like? I suspect many here wouldn’t vote for the person no matter what.

The establishment will rally around Tom Emmer for Speaker. Hope he fails.

Remember when Trump tried to transfer a small part of the BLM (you know, the federal agency that terrorizes farmers and ranchers, not the Communist African gang...oh wait, what’s the diff?) to Kansas City, so as to be somewhat near the people they regulate?

The (R)s are unfortunately trifurcated. Libertarians, Christian Right and Country Clubbers (the latter includes career politicians). They don’t get along.
But, in my lifetime anyway, the (R) leadership has always sprung from the Country Clubbers. That’s being exposed.

If and when we have a speaker then we shall see who won. Until that time anything could happen and don’t rule Jordan out.
It’s at least as much about their hatred of Matt Gaetz who dared challenge their annointed one, as it is about Jordan. But since both are “MAGA conservatives” the same cannons are aimed at both. Gaetz will probably quit and run for Governor of FL and you can be sure they’re readying primary challengers to Jordan in both branches of the Uniparty.
