Something Very odd about this report. As others pointed out many cities where not listed. Which really should. Most of the cities are within conservative states. I checked the source. It came from this report:

I did a comparison between Detroit, Il and Knoxville, Tn, for crime rate

I was expecting more of a drastic difference considering the news. And yes, this is hardly a scientific sample

When I compare it to Rzeszow, Poland, which has a similar population to Knoxville, the crime rate is 12.31 --> a quarter that of Knoxville and 1/6th that of Detroit

This tells me that there is a need to change the culture

Most violent crimes are never reported to the police.

For a more accurate assessment of crime in your city, it ay be more accurate to count murders (because it's hard to hide bodies) and car thefts (because insurance companies require a police report).
