Had FR yet united that Russia is the evil side here yet?
This "event" involving so many moving parts. to include multinational companies and being a hot war, means both sides take losses. And give losses. Reuters is moving towards reporting the tit-for-tat. Ditto other Western media. This is actually a sea-change in media.
The Industrial Revolution has caused all like enterprises to be incorporated into the same or co-located structures. This was for communications and efficiency. If you needed a machine and that machine could be shared, then locating all the machine’s users next to each other made sense. During wartime the German’s discovered they could spread out the production of the FW190 across lots of little locations. Sometimes the plane’s components were brought together and assembled under a temporary shed and flown off a street. When it comes to wartime, I think the idea of co-locating things is counterproductive. The necessity for co-location
for communications is long gone. It would be best to spread out all government functions and many industrial sites so that they are harder to locate and made into such miniscule targets that no individual location is worth the expenditure.
