The Founders wisely put checks and balances into our system of government. But then they gave the President a king-like pardon power.
There should have been something in place to check presidential pardon power. Perhaps Congress should be able to override a pardon, just as they can override a veto. Such an event would be rare. But least there would be a hearing, and a debate.

I would also ask them to include an exact definition of “natural born citizen”.
