Well, the press has just been reporting what they’ve been told by various officials. So what’s questionable is what the officials have been telling them.
For instance, just the other day Politico was told that the area was “heavily trafficked” and so the camera footage wouldn’t be useful. They were told this by an “official familiar with the investigation.” And then KJP the said thing in a press conference later that day.
But suddenly the story has changed and now the area was unused because of construction, we’re told.
So what does this mean about what the official and KJP were saying before? Were they just kidding? What’s going on?
When the story does a backflip like this there needs to be some explanation. Hint to the media — ya’ll might want to ask some obvious questions because you’re getting played for chumps.
