Conway: Cornel West’s Third-Party Candidacy Could Decide the 2024 Election
Breitbart ^ | 06/06/2023 | Pam Key

Posted on 06/06/2023 11:41:33 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

Fox News contributor Kellyanne Conway said Tuesday on Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom” that progressive activist Cornel West’s third-party presidential bid could decide the 2024 election.

Conway said, “Even if you don’t become president, you as a third party candidate spoiler can decide who is the president. This happened in 1992 when we had Bush 41 as the incumbent and a guy named Bill Clinton the Arkansas governor got elected with 43 1/2% of the vote. Why? because Ross Perot got 19% of the popular vote even though he did not rack up any electoral votes.”

I agree with Kellyanne here (actually, she agrees with me and my several posts hereabouts.)

The Democrats and their obedient little sheeple minions have no equivalent of a Libertarian Party. In 2020, they got the Green Party disqualified from the ballot in Pennsylvania and trucked in enough votes from NJ and NY to drop in Philly at 3 am to put Joe over the top.

They also got the best green party candidate off the ballot in Wisconsin.

Go third parties for the left, the liberal voters should have many options to choose from.

He has interesting things to say sometimes AND he’ll take more votes from Biden than from Trump. I don’t see a problem here.

There isn’t any movement for RFK jr, and there won’t be any debates.

In 1992, Perot could not be bought off "for the good of the republican party."

I believe West will be given an offer to bow out; an offer he can't refuse. A promise for him to head a department or agency under a democrat administration comes to mind - and/or a reminder that accidents can happen.

As G. Gordon Liddy would often say on his radio program: "Oh ye 43 percent, oh ye SUCKERS!"

“Cornell West will get AT MOST 2 1/2% of the votes.”

Hopefully he does better. They will be all Democrat voters. Maybe he can convince the Dem cheat machine in urban areas to cheat for him, bleeding more dem votes.

All the swing states will make sure to come up with some nonexistent rule to keep him off the ballot.

The Democrats own the mechanisms of elections.

Yes that Perot had an effect on Bush Sr not winning re-election. But there’s also the impact of already having 3 terms in a row in the WH for the same party. If you think about it, a 4th term in a row wouldn’t have been unprecedented, but definitely unusual. It hasn’t been done in my lifetime.

2 1/2 % in swing states comes out to how many state swings?

Pffft... West ain’t no dummy. He knows exactly what he’s doing. Democrats will undoubtedly ply him with tens of millions of dollars (or whatever the going rate is now) to “drop out.” It’s all a money laundering scam. Rev. Al and Jesse led the way. What did they end up giving Bernie?

RFK Jr. is a great what-if candidate for the Democrats. He’s a great alternative in advance to disrupt Biden but he’ll never stand up to scrutiny in the party. He’s a well established Democrat but totally out of step with the party.
