this refers to balboa, cristobal, and (not sure if they have the concession) rodman ports.
the allegation that china bought the canal is one of the more common lies about panama here, presumably from people that don’t know the difference.
I don’t think many people realize just how vulnerable the canal is in terms of modern warfare.
