Down in Mexico, President Andres Lopez-Obrador has confirmed what most of us knew. Here is the story:
The Mexican president says his country has proof that illegal shipments of the powerful opioid drug fentanyl are arriving from China.
A container with hidden packages of the drug was intercepted in the Pacific port of Lázaro Cárdenas, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said.
"We already have proof," he said, adding that he would ask the Chinese government to help stop the shipments.
US authorities say fentanyl is now the main driver of US drug overdose deaths.
In March President López Obrador said he had written to Chinese President Xi Jinping requesting Chinese help in the anti-narcotics fight, after US politicians had urged him to do so.
He told reporters on Friday that he would repeat that plea to Beijing: "In a very respectful manner, we are going to send this information to reiterate the request that they help us."
Mexican Navy Secretary Rafael Ojeda said the container intercepted in Lázaro Cárdenas had packages weighing 34-35kg (75 pounds) with traces of fentanyl and methamphetamine hidden in fuel resin. The cargo had left the Chinese city of Qingdao and passed through Busan in South Korea before reaching Mexico.
Well, now we know, don't we? Is anyone shocked?
The question is, what is Mexico going to do about it? That answer is a bit more complicated because China denies its role in this game.

Obrador is going to take the Chinese money and look the other way. After all, it’s the American gringos that are dying and that’s a good thing to him.

Why would Mexico do anything about it. Their President gets a cut.....I suspect Biden does as well.

Is this a joke? They’re not going to do anything about it except move it on through to the US and take their cut of the profits. The same thing that Mexico has been doing for the last 40 years with the drug trade. The Mexican government is part of the drug trade, not a hindrance to it.

The same thing most countries do about an illegal product there is a high demand for: attack the supply and fail to achieve anything.
China is not going to stop shipments of fentanyl. They are using it to wage war by other means.
But China is not forcing ignorant, woke, groomer, democrats or their pervert loving spawn from taking it. They do that all by themselves.

Mexico enjoys having this leverage over the USA
Make it more profitable to the cartels to kill the people bringing it in than to bring it into America.
China sees this with wry amusement. They remember the western nations during what they call the century of humiliation. They particularly remember Britain forcing opium on them at gunpoint. It is taught in the schools there. HSBC was literally founded as a dope bank to facilitate the opium trade.
China will not lift a finger until its still to them as a tool in negotiations.

It is the job of our country to stop allowing millions of illegals and shipments of drugs into the country.
