Donald Trump took Disney World's side in the company's war with Ron DeSantis He suggested that the company could move out Florida amid the conflict Walt Disney Co. is a massive donor to pro-Trump America First Action Donald Trump has urged Disney to leave Florida in a move that would be a financial 'killer' for Ron DeSantis.
The former president said the Florida Governor and potential 2024 presidential rival is being 'destroyed' by the Magic Kingdom and claimed his 'original P.R. plan fizzled'.
He said the corporation could start selling properties and moving money out of the state in the feud over who has control over the Reedy Creek Improvement District.
Meanwhile, Walt Disney Co. donated a whopping $10.5 million to Trump’s America First Action in the 2020 election cycle, according to Open Secrets.
In the most recent escalation in the war with Disney, DeSantis threatened to build a prison next to the theme park as payback.
'DeSanctus is being absolutely destroyed by Disney,' Trump claimed in a Truth Social post on Tuesday morning, seeming to employ a shorter version of his usual nickname 'DeSanctimonious'.
'His original P.R. plan fizzled, so now he's going back with a new one in order to save face,' he added of DeSantis. 'Disney's next move will be the announcement that no more money will be invested in Florida because of the Governor - In fact, they could even announce a slow withdrawal or sale of certain properties, or the whole thing. Watch! That would be a killer.'

While there is truth to what you say I’m not into “what’s one more child groomer supporter as long as its our “child groomer supporter”. Besides Trump gets no where by doing what he is doing. The Democrats and their RINO allies perfected the art of the steal in 2020 and 2022. What makes you think that Trump, DeSantis, or any other Republican candidate for President can win in 2024 unless the Democrat/RINO control of the voting process in Atlanta, Phoenix, Milwaukee, etc. is broken? A classic case is in Georgia, where the steal-friendly GOP Governor and Secretary of State won even as the MAGA friendly Herschel Walker was defeated in his U.S. Senate race. Brian Kemp was rewarded for his cooperation in facilitating the steal in 2020 by the Democratic machines in Fulton and other urban counties. Unless the corruption is broken, the only Republican candidates that can win are those whom the Democrats allow to win. In other words, the national equivalent of Larry Hogan or Chris Christie.
