Even looked at purely from the perspective of political strategy, DeSantis choosing this time to take shots at Trump was a bad move.
That’s how I see it. I mean, if his goal was to win Trump voters, he should have stood solidly with him against an obvious attempt at criminalizing a political opponent.
If Trump went down, he would have stood to benefit. Now he looks like someone who helped in the effort to shiv Trump like Brutus did Caesar.
