It’s not hard to understand. The powers that be are saying you can have anyone except Trump. In order to Make America Great Again the people have to be able to have ANYONE they want. Trump being in the white house goes hand in hand with making America great again. The approved alternatives are therefore, of necessity, non staters.

But you should also know that the 2020 "election" was proof-of-concept [can we steal an election in everybody's faces, and shout down those calling vote fraud?], and the 2022 "election" was an engineered election [let's manipulate the outcome to get the results we want!].
In 2022, they wanted to squash the Red Wave - crush the apparent retaking of the Senate, and blunt the House takeover.

Remember - they only have so much money to create ballots. Hence, they pulled all the vote fraud money out of Florida [Florida lost nearly a million Democrat "votes" from the 2018 "election"] and spent it buying US Senate races.
They didn't have enough to cover the House races, which is why you saw the "leakage" in New York and California. They were relying on unfunded local fraud, but the country is redder than we think.
The Dems lost the Long Island House seats, and they didn't retake ANY California House seats from the Pubbies.
The Republicans actually picked up a couple of the new California House seats from the Census redistricting.
I wouldn’t support DeSantis. Supporting thr nominee regardless if you agree with them just so you can have an R in thr Whitehouse is silly.
Many Florida conservatives are conflicted. But not one will bad mouth their governor. They, more than anyone, know of his achievements. How do I know this? Ive lived in Fla since ‘69. He took the governorship from Dem Andrew Gillum with only a 30,000 vote majority. And but for DJT he would have lost the state. Either man will have my vote. I’ll wait for the debates to decide. But right now, Desantis has best chance of running the table on whoever the dims put up in the general election.

DeSantis polls well against Biden. Better then Trump in some polls. And that’s what’s important.

I did initially not support Trump didn’t trust him. I put him after Cruz, Jindal, Carson, Walker, but before Jeb, Graham, Fiorina.
By the end of the primaries he had proven himself. And after his Presidency he proved to be the greatest.
But I never called anyone Trumpazees. I did use the term trumpeter fire. But by June Trump had proven himself and Cruz discredited himself by choosing Fiorina.
