Well just to make sure we need to fire an expensive missile at a science project weather balloon in Alaska to warn the Chinese that JoeDementia means business.
Imagine such an attack happening with Dementia Joe in charge. It would take hours for the ruling cabal to agree on what to do and to get Joe diapered and medicated to deliver a rambling address to the American people. Trump would have launched a limited nuclear strike on Chinese military targets as soon as the missile attack on Hawaii was confirmed.
Exactly how was Pearl Harbor anything like “green lasers fired from satellites to gather intelligence for a surprise hypersonic missile attack”?
That is until we welcomed them into the Nuclear Age.
Some of the biggest mistakes were:
Giving china a seat on the UN Security Council.
Giving china “Most Favored Nation” status.
Allowing U.S. businesses to open up manufacturing in china.
Giving china access to the patent office.
Allowing these chinese “cultural centers” to open on college and university campuses. (These are ccp intelligence gathering sites)
I could go on and on, but the point is that our foreign policy with china over the past 60+ years has been totally wrong.

Lasers with such wide spacing couldn’t tell you anything useful about stuff on the ground.
If they have a way to use the lasers to measure air currents, it’s probably related to their ballon spy platforms.
