The authors of a book arguing for slavery reparations have demanded that the federal government should fork out an eye-watering $14 TRILLION to the cause.
Duke University professor William A. Darity and writer A. Kirsten Mullen called for the mammoth reparations payout as they argued that the federal government is 'culpable for slavery.'

It would be cheaper just to send all the blacks back to Africa. And probably a much better outcome.
These nonsensical proposals are not meant to actually deliver this money to anyone; like the Obama presidency (a complete failure except to the permanent underclass), it is meant to just leave the current de facto reparations (affirmative action, multi-generational welfare for life) in place. It is no accident that these assaults on working Americans are occurring as the Supreme Court has to consider the legality of affirmative action/preferential treatment in colleges; these programs have created the illusion of a larger black middle class with race-based admissions, hires, and promotions (especially in government jobs, but throughout the private sector as well with the threat of lawsuits due to unequal outcomes).
The Asians and Hispanics would probably bear the brunt of any payments if they ever are made, as so many young white men have just left the game altogether (and many employers prefer the imported scabs). Living in their parents’ homes well past their youth, they’ll contribute no property taxes - and they can work low-wage jobs that don’t just exempt them from taxes, they’ll probably qualify for the “reverse tax” known as the Earned Income Credit (receiving money back for working low-wage jobs). In fact, they’ll find they qualify for some of the same de facto reparations as those with outstretched palms have been receiving for half a century, though probably not the ones that require children - they’ll have none of that (so there is no “next generation” to squeeze for such “reparations”).
Alternatively, let’s see if blacks want to return to Africa and their impoverished, tribal state. No?
How about reparations for all the crime, rapes, murders, beatings, etc. over the years?

Wouldn’t it be cheaper to just buy Africa and ship them all home? Any person that declares that their family was brought over from Africa as slaves will be given free passage back.
My default reaction to these pronouncements has become, “STFU. Just STFU!” Perhaps not helpful, but that or ridicule is the only effective response.
Why stop at $14 Trillion. In fact, why not just make whitey hand over everything, the whole enchilada, homes, cars, money, even their women.

Doubtless that these two also wanted the arrest of the Duke lacrosse team for the “rape” of that hooker some years back.
Those 88 “professors” should have been fired on the spot.

When are blacks going to give reparations to the millions of of victims of their crimes? How about repaying for all the damage they’ve inflicted upon cities and towns across the country? How about repaying all the money they’ve received in the form of welfare, food stamps, Head Start, and a host of other programs?
ANY reparations given to them should be given ONLY if they leave the country and never return.
In their desperate attempt to be relevant or at least noticed, people almost always come off as desperately stupid ... as with this chump.
I have a better idea. GO BACK from where you think you came from, they don’t want you either.

Indeed she won’t ask for reparations from her own people who enslaved them and the sold them as slaves in Africa.
