No-needle’ COVID vaccine may protect you better, researchers say. How does it work?

Could a “no-needle” COVID-19 vaccine protect against the virus better than traditional shots?

A new inhaled COVID-19 vaccine created in Canada is “far more effective” at kickstarting the body’s “protective” immune response than shots, according to researchers at McMaster University in Ontario.

This is based on the results of published, pre-clinical trials, which have paved the way for the vaccine to be studied in people. With the first phase of studies in people underway, the researchers have now received over $8 million in funding to support a larger Phase 2 study involving up to 500 people in the coming months, the university announced in a Jan. 20 news release.

The funding comes from the Canadian Institutes for Health Research.

This is getting bad. So there is a chance I could be vaccinated against my wishes because the medical establishment is wanting to make mRNA airborn. Man, it’s past time to move to a deserted island somewhere and get away from this madness!

One note I thought of- that “might work” as a preventa5ive too. Like say you had a family get together, li,e day for Thanksgiving, there is a mouth wash by crest that has an Ingrediant in it that kills covid on contact, and also, using the Nadal budesonide, you could prevent covid virus from getting established in the nose, which is where flues like to take root and spread from. Those two things are quick imexpensive ways to help cut down o. The risk of getting covid in situations where others might have covid and be spreading g it. Might be good to take a swig and shot of nasal inhaler right before going to doctors too where sick people likely are.

But really. Covid at this point has mutated and is a lot less deadly (covid 19 itself was only like .5% deadly) than covid proper, so most everyone will survive anyways- but like any dangerous flu, it’s a crap shoot, but again, the odds are in our favor, and we can even I crease the odds by small things like the mouthwash and nasal inhaler for arrows that have a higher chance of having others who are infected in them.

That’s a great point!

I always carry a bottle of this or equivalent with me in my vehicle, to use often after being in contact with others.

Yup me too- smaller bottle of it right in the car- The mouthwash that is- use it before going into doc’s visit, then again after- or use when have to be in contact with loads of people- takes just a few seconds, and don’t need much- plus it helps my dragon breath lol

This the stuff here- it has for it’s Active Ingredients: Cetylpyridinium Chloride - 0.075 % in it- the ingredient that kills cornavirus on contact, and flu viruses and such-

https://www.walgreens.com/store/c/colgate-total-advanced-pro-shield-mouthwash-peppermint-blast/ID=prod6195182-product

when it first came out they claimed it killed the virus for up to 8 hours- since then they have lowered that- but stil claim it kills covid specifically-

Here is a site talking about studies done for covid

It should interfere with replication, however. Having taken it very early on, I didn’t see any evidence of that.

I know they use a BIG dose of budesonide in research — around 1600 μg/ day. I definitely wouldn’t want to take a massive dose of any corticosteroid on an ongoing basis just for “prevention”.

Inhaler and not a big dose. See previous comment.

thanks- Maybe the treatments that work had higher amounts, and got to lungs better- i remember a doc when covid first hit was using the nebulizers and budesonide to cure his patients- he claimed none of them got real sick- but he was soon ostracized by the left and made to look like a cook ‘pushing dangerous alternatives’- the left did that to a number of docs- unfortunately- -

Her only treated folsk who got covid- didn’t recommend it for preventative-

I used ivermectin when i got omicron- it didn’t seem to make much difference- either that or i woulda been really sick if i hadn’t taken it- i was sick abotu a week- 3 days pretty sick- but thankfully no gasping for breath- I’ve had flues i nthe past, before Covid- where i thought i was gonna stop breathing- went to hospital and they put me on nebulizer with different meds, and got so i could breathe well again- not sure what they used though-

You have to take it by inhaler or nebulizer. The nasal spray won’t work for what you require.

Nasal spray is only 32mcg. The budesonide needs to reach the lungs

h/t to tickerforum.org

” Two Budesonide forms you need.
Liquid for nebulizers
Pulmacort inhaler.
I used my Cigna telephone consultant option.
$57 copay for 2 boxes of Nebulizer 30 treatments per box
1 Pulmacort 180 mcg per dose inhaler.
There is also a 90 mcg per dose inhaler.

May need GoodRX coupon as the inhaler alone can be $300 without insurance.”

Budesonide is a corticosteroid it should not be taken casually or for “prevention” Only if breathing impaired. You can hose your self if you use it inappropriately.

Thank you, your suggestion actually looks like a better, especially more affordable, solution. I look forward to trying it out soon!

Within the US yes. It can be sourced off shore(India).

They produce most of our meds anyway.
