Wouldn’t it be correct to say, that you were rendering gender-affirming care, if you counsel a male and convince him that he really is a male , and not a female?
If you convince a male that he is really a female, you are not affirming his biological sex. You would be incorrectly telling him that he is really the opposite sex. But yet they call this gender affirming care when you are not affirming the true sex of someone.

How did castrating a man or performing a hysterectomy on a woman, combined with mutilating their genitals, come to be called “gender affirming care”?
Malpractice taking advantage of mentally ill people. I just read that after about 5 years of taking testosterone, women who ‘transition’ to men may require a hysterectomy because their uterus/cervix etc. begin to atrophy and may become infected. None were told when they were prescribed testosterone that they may later require a hysterectomy as a result. There’s no pro-active followup on the part of physicians - no one contacting them with a postcard to say, “Is it time for your hysterectomy?”
I will happily tolerate these gender-afforming idiots, if they dump them into Mexico in exchange for a normal Mexican.
Lots of questions: vaginoplasty involves creation of a pouch inserted into “cavity created.” Created how? Do they remove 2 feet of colon? “Minor problems” include urination problems and sexual problems. Minor to whom? Study was based on 80 patients. 80? Half had medical problems. Why do surgeons commit this malpractice? Article said they recommend patient follow up should be standard after first year. Is it NOT already standard? Why aren’t there thousands of malpractice suits each year? These surgeons are Mengeles.
