How many could the Ukrainians keep running?

Western tanks have very sophisticated computer systems. You don’t upgrade the software by downloading an App from the Apple Store.

The Western leaders have nothing but disdain for Ukraine, sending them garbage that creates the logistical nightmare of having a Frankenstein army composed of antiquated rubbish and not enough of anything to create a single brigade. The epitome is the Sea Sparrow missiles to be adapted from a naval context to be used with Soviet Era launchers. Glad my life doesn’t depend on someone getting that to work.

“So they collected the cripples, the wounded and maimed
And they shipped us back home to Australia
The legless, the armless, the blind and insane
Those proud wounded heroes of Suvla
And as our ship pulled into Circular Quay
I looked at the place where me legs used to be
And thanked Christ there was nobody waiting for me
To grieve and to mourn and to pity”

It’s a Chinese trick to drain the Western powers of their ability to wage war by sucking all their resources into a war against Russia.

I am starting to get a bit worried, by this.

This is looking less and less like a Ukraine conflict, and instead seems more and more, like a possible international conflict, between the world’s biggest armed forces, and incidentally the world’s two largest nuclear forces.

If this crosses some invisible line on someone’s personal agenda, at some point, all hell could suddenly break loose.

Just saying...

Do not take counsel of your fears........ General George Patton

Russia screwed up on a grand scale. NATO has an opportunity to destroy the continual threat of Mother Russia and is doing so.

Mother Russia’s cupboard is bare and she lacks the wherewithal to refill it.

No logistics, no supply chain, no training, no English to Ukrainian translated manuals.

May as well just ship one over to Moscow today, because the Russians will end up with one picked off the battlefield anyway.

Russia has the world’s largest nuclear forces.

The biggest.

We have the second largest nuclear force.

We really, do not want to make Ukraine, what we seem to be making Ukraine.

Everyone, needs to back off a bit. For real.

Disposing of lots of old inventory by donating it to Ukes. Will save some small $ in storage costs and eventual disposal costs. Putin is doing the same, with some items literally dating back to Tsarist times. After this war anything too old to have been used therein likely deserves to be disposed. Might save enough to cover all the ordinance disposal and scrap metal disposal we’ll doubtless end up funding there afterwards.

I thought about that too.

Then I thought about pancakes and how I want them but they would take me away from my weight loss goals.

Spack junk crossed my mind, so did frozen popcicle sticks.

Agree. We have Russia by the throat and we shouldn’t let go until that nation’s eyes go blank.

I am now thoroughly convinced that the West is just using Ukraine as a thorn in the side of russia. And they’re giving Ukrainians just enough to keep fighting and dying for our purposes. Honestly, makes me sick

You’re not wrong. It’s clearly an international proxy war. I doubt it’ll be contained. Who is NOT involved? What could trigger spillage? ...endless possibilities.
