When dude was down on the ground, standing over him and headshotting was also a bad idea. Stopping a criminal and restraining him for the cops is one thing; summary execution is crossing the Rubicon. imo
I suspect you have not been in many shoot outs. The “hey you” concept is the most ...ill say, uneducated and ignorant comment I’ve heard all day.
There is nothing in the law in the slightest that says you have to shoot him in the front.
You should probably just audit this thread and not do it for a grade.
Cops would have shot him until dead.
Roy Rogers had this deal he used to do where he’d shoot the gun out of the bad guy’s hand and then give him a good talking-to.
