The, what, decade long?, or more? abandonment of the standard appropriations process has been, by far and away, the single most significant abdication/derogation on the part of the members of the federal House of Representatives with respect to their most role under the U.S. Constitution—controlling in the first instance the federal government’s purse strings.
Right...Elected representatives actually working for voters instead of lobbyists and big money donors.
