Intel officials who claimed Hunter Biden laptop was ‘Russian disinformation’ far more blameworthy than Twitter censors
nypost ^ | 12/5/2022 | rich lowry

The Twitter Files released by Elon Musk give us a more fine-grained understanding of how and why the social media company decided to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story.

This was a woefully stupid decision. The New York Post’s account was suspended for two weeks for the offense of coming up with a scoop that we are still talking about and that will surely play a large role in upcoming GOP investigations into Biden family corruption.

That’s the kind of thing that newspapers should get awards for; Twitter thought it should get punished for it.

But the Twitter officials caught up in the progressive bubble that caused them to censor first, ask questions later — all in the name of “safety,” of course — weren’t the most blameworthy actors in this episode.

That dishonor belongs to the former intelligence officials who put out a widely cited, deliberately misleading letter suggesting that the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation. It muddied the discussion over the laptop and gave Joe Biden a handy tool to try to deflect the laptop story.

These former officials knew what they were doing, traded on their public service for a tawdry political purpose and have by and large demonstrated no remorse.

Even the former global head of trust and safety at Twitter — who sounds like he just came from a sit-in at a university president’s office demanding the disinvitation of a right-wing speaker from campus — has said the company shouldn’t have suppressed the Hunter Biden story.

Amazingly, the former officials, once entrusted with some of the most sensitive powers and roles in the US government, aren’t as responsible and accountable as a social media functionary from woke central casting. As a sheer matter of public accountability, their disgraceful performance should be one focus of

The Director of the FBI and the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security must resign, be removed or impeached to re-establish faith in a correctively oriented replacement head. If not, those two departments are hopelessly compromised.

It proves one thing, this was a conspiracy among many.

Lowry makes a good point. Everyone is up in arms about some lackeys with nose rings at Twitter HQ censoring the Hunter Biden story... but what about the Leon Panettas and Michael Morells and John Brennans of the world who blatantly lied about the laptop to the public?

So much for any doubts about whether the deep state was conspiring against Trump. Brennan is the ring leader.

The Giuliani/Bannon (Trump?) plan to only release 1 e-mail per day for a month, instead of dumping it all at once like Wikileaks did with the Clinton e-mails, greatly contributed to these false narratives taking root. I know that’s sacrilege to some, but it was a huge factor in why the truth was ignored.

I think the networks should be blamed as much as Twitter, because they didn’t cover it either. That would have changed the vote more than Twitter.

Chris Wallace was well-primed before the debate he moderated:

Finally, Wallace expressed some serious doubts about the veracity of the information in question.

“Remember that the hard drive that the computer guy in Delaware gave to the FBI in December of 2019, so about 10 or 11 months ago, they've had,” he explained. “And one assumes that had Biden taken money from a foreign entity while he was vice president and had he lied—because we've seen his tax returns from 2019—that we would have seen the fruits of that investigation by now.”

Wallace remains one of the most contemptible MSM puppet masters around.

Epic disgrace. From those who feigned faith in the laughable pee-pee tapes.

But they knew to maintain deniability, by describing it as “bearing the hallmarks of,” as opposed to “being” disinfo. Sharks.

Tigers and sharks.

Fauci funding Chinese COVID research. Release of COVID. Mail-in ballots. Zero chain of custody control. Unsolicited mailings to request mail-in ballots. Coordinated stopping of vote counting. Chinese printed ballots. 3 AM drop-off of ballots. Crooked voting machines. Last minute changes of voting law in states without going through the legislature. Absolutely impossible voting statistics. DNC, FBI, big media, and Big Tech control of communications. 50 former intel guys saying it was Russian disinformation.

The number of nefarious actors, the breadth of their coordinated schemes, the variety of tools they used, and their obvious coordination is absolutely staggering.

For 3 years the main stream media talked about Trump Russia collusion. Now we have a letter signed by several former intelligence officials that said the Hunter Biden laptop story is Russian disinformation. The main stream media ran with this but the main stream media doesn’t want to label this collusion between the Biden campaign team, intelligence officials and the main stream media.

Censors were more blameworthy. A responsible journalist/editor would make it known that

A. There is this laptop, which allegedly proves that Joe Biden is the tool of China, Russia, Ukraine, etc.,etc., and Hunter is his bag man.

B. There are these ex-intelligence officials, who allege that the whole thing is Russian mis-information.

And then say you decide what the truth is, and vote accordingly.

Burying the story was a direct assault on democracy, decency, and the Constitution. It was also insulting as hell, as if the hoi polloi are too stupid to make up their minds, so they need to be sheltered from anything that requires thinking and judgment.

BOMBSHELL LAPTOP AUDIO: Hunter Biden & Walmart Bigwig
Discussed ‘Pulling The Trigger To Stop Trump’
teaparty.org ^ | DEC 2021 | TeaParty.org

While the mainstream media is trying to cook up every kind of narrative you can think of concerning things like the COVID-19 pandemic, the real stories we should be keeping our eyes on, like what’s happening with right now with new revelations concerning the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop get tossed to the wayside.

Clearly, someone on the left wants to keep that and many other stories buried for a reason. What that reason is we do not know. However, this level of effort isn’t being expended for nothing.

According to a new report from Infowars, new content from Hunter’s laptop reveals audio and text messages between the troubled son of Joe Biden and a top executive who works for Walmart chatting about “pulling the trigger to stop Trump” from taking home a victory in the 2020 presidential election.”

“A file found in the iTunes folder of Hunter’s laptop reveals an audio transcript from 2018 between Hunter and Walmart Corporation Chairman of the Board Greg Penner discussing ‘pulling the trigger’ to stop President Trump and his movement in the 2020 election,” the report said.

You know, that phrase, “pulling the trigger” almost sounds like these two individuals were wanting some kind of physical violence against President Trump, doesn’t it? Of course we know that’s not how that phrase was meant to be taken, but if this were two Republicans talking about a Democratic president, that’s exactly how the media would report on it.

“Overall objective here is to stop, not only Donald Trump, but to stem the tide of what Donald Trump represents in the political process, for the future of this country,” Biden goes on to say. “Which is way more dangerous than I ever thought that it possibly could be.”

VIDEO 9 MIN

“We can pull the trigger on getting something in place on these different ballots…where we wouldn’t even have to have necessarily a specific candidate…” Penner stated.

Some additional screenshots of the text messages and emails show Penner back in 2017 asking Hunter to chat about something “that’s best not to be done by text or email.” (Screen shot here).

In an email from 2018, Penner asked the younger Biden to “…visit with you about some options I’ve been working on for the 2020 election…” (Screen shot here).

TALKING POINTS
CURRENT WALMART PRESIDENT IS DOUG MCKINNON

<><>I am shocked, and, moreover, extremely angry, to learn Walmart president Penner
colluded with a ne’er do well crackhead Hunter Biden to interfere in a US presidential election.

<><>It is shocking to learn that a Walmart president was even willing to use violence to stop an opposition candidate.

<><>Walmart shoppers are hard working people who, as Americans, possess a sacred right to vote that you would wantonly abrogate.
.

<><>This is more proof that the 2020 election was illegal.

<><>Walmart aided and abetted Fraudulent Conveyance of Services and should be so charged.
