Arizona officials certified the state’s vote canvass on Monday, officially declaring winners in the high-profile gubernatorial and Senate races, among other contests, as GOP figures vow to fight the election results in court.
The once low-profile certification process turned into a fierce battle between election officials, Republican candidates and some county boards as the GOP seized on printer malfunctions in the state’s most populous county, in part leading Arizona to become an epicenter for voter disenfranchisement allegations.
Election officials have acknowledged mishaps but insist no voter was disenfranchised. Some GOP figures and their supporters claimed officials were lying, unsuccessfully calling on county boards to not certify their canvasses in recent days before turning their ire to Monday’s state-level certification.
But Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs (D), who is now governor-elect, Gov. Doug Ducey (R), state Attorney General Mark Brnovich (R) and Arizona Supreme Court Chief Justice Robert Brutinel still met to canvass last month’s election on Monday, a timeline mandated by state law.
“Arizona had a successful election,” Hobbs said. “But too often throughout the process, powerful voices proliferated misinformation that threatened to disenfranchise voters. Democracy prevailed, but it’s not out of the woods. 2024 will bring a host of challenges from the election denial community that we must prepare for.

So let the fireworks begin. Recalls, lawfare, demonstrations (that’s where Penzone will try to do a Garland...probably hire Ray Epps to stage a fake riot). And of course recall Gates and Richer. They’re easy pickings. They can’t steal lopsided elections, only “close” ones (meaning within 5%, or the allowable cheat margin).
Make life hell for her, Fontes and Penzone.
Break up Maricopa county. Too damn big anyway. At least three counties there, maybe four.

This loss is on the GOP, RNC, their high paid consultants/ influencers (Bannon, Charlie Kirk, Posobiec, etc all encouraged citizens not to protest and to effectively “trust the plan”), and their cracker jack legal legal team, as well as the malign and lingering influence of Songbird McCain over the AZ GOP. The GOP is actually going to promote the lawyer here who completely dropped the ball and capitulated, Harmeet Dhillon (who is also on CA GOP board- so a real legacy of success), to replace the odious Ronna Romney. Sickening.
Lock up Katie Hobbs and see if she’s still governor
I couldn’t believe that Mark Levin endorsed Mark Brnovich during the Primary.
Who would have been more likely to have won due to the border issues.

Yeah l know. Seeing that smug cheating little bitch makes my blood boil. She stayed in the basement while Lake worked her ass off knowing the whole time she was going to steal it even being down by 10 points.
At least in this case, we cannot blame the media. The media was pretty harsh on Katie Hobbs and slammed her relentlessly on not wanting to debate Lake. Lots of bad publicity for Hobbs on this.
