Why did no one, not one person, have the common sense to video asking a Capital Police Officer “Hey, is it okay for us to enter the building?”

I never thought of that until I read your post. It would've been a good idea but I confess that, on the scene, I wouldn't have thought of it, either.

Maybe someone on the scene DID think of it and got told "No."

My belief is that you are correct. Because if someone had video of Capital Police saying it was okay to enter, that would have been posted EVERYWHERE.
