EXPLAINER: How a Boebert-Frisch House recount would work
Associated Press ^ | November 18, 2022 | Jesse Bedayn

Posted on 11/23/2022 3:13:29 PM PST by kiryandil

Colorado’s election recount rules could help determine the extent of Republicans’ slim majority in the lower chamber of Congress by deciding the outcome of Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert’s reelection race against Democrat Adam Frisch.

The thin margin in the sprawling 3rd Congressional District, which covers the state’s largely rural western and southern territory, could trigger a rare automatic recount. The Associated Press declared the race too close to call Thursday night with Boebert up by 551 votes out of nearly 327,000 cast and nearly all votes counted. The AP won’t make a call until after the recount, if there is one.

Q: WHAT WOULD BE THE TIMELINE FOR A RECOUNT?

A: Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold has until the end of the day Dec. 5 to declare whether the vote margin is tight enough to require a mandatory recount. Counties must complete the retabulation by Dec. 13.

"Dirty Jena" Griswold is on the Colorado CD-3 Steal.

The Democrats rigged Mesa County, once they got Tina Peters out of the way. Plain as day.

90% of the time, if the Republican is ahead, a recount will flip to the dimocrat, then no more recounts. They count until they win. I’ve seen it way too much especially in Washington and Oregon.

They’ll find a bunch of “votes” in Adam Frisch’s storage unit, next to a pile of women’s scanties.

Typical Democrat ploy.

He "conceded" - knowing that the recount is mandated by state law.

That way, when the "votes" flip the seat, Frisch and the Democrat Media can try to concession-shame Boebert with his "magnanimous" earlier gesture.

The Dems don't miss a trick.

I’ve used up my reserve of outrage in this election already. I think I’m gonna wait and see what actually happens.

Always watch out when the Asspress starts one of their instructive pieces with “Here’s how,” or “Here’s what..” They just got the word from the DNC.

A concession is meaningless and has no effect on an election. If you concede and win the vote count, you win the election. You can then resign if you don’t want to serve.

I posted something like that earlier today on another thread. I'm looking in the constitution to find where AP is the decisive authority to determine election results...still looking.

BTW the Republicans have 220 seats and leads in two more, this in Colorado and Calif 13th, but AP hasn't anointed the results yet there.

Oh puleeze!
Republicans ALREADY have 220 seats in the House with or without this seat.
And Republicans will end up with 222 seats just like the Dems have had for the past 2 years.
You are trolling for nothing.

I know how these recount work. Republican wins. Recount finds Democrat wins. Republicans denied a third count.

Yup. I think Gregoire used this trick twice on Rossi. What is sad is the GOP did nothing to fight it. Basically the judge got the final say.
