A bartender at Club Q in Colorado Springs, Colo., said early Monday that he believes the gunman who committed a mass shooting there over the weekend was targeting the LGBTQ community.
During an appearance on “CNN This Morning,” Michael Anderson noted that the gunman came to one of only two gay clubs in the city.
“I don’t know what was wrong with this man,” Anderson said. “I don’t know why he needed to act in this way, but he obviously had some some feelings towards — I don’t know if it was transgender people, gays, lesbians, I don’t know — Club Q is a safe place for everybody, everybody in the spectrum of the rainbow.”
“So I don’t know who he was targeting, but I definitely feel that it was something aimed directly at my community, yet again another time in our country,” he continued.

I would say the U.S. Army is my community, but I no longer know them.

Suspect was arrested June 2021 after threatening his mother with a homemade bomb and other weapons. Charged on two counts of felony menacing and three counts of first-degree kidnapping in 2021. The district attorney’s office told The Colorado Springs Gazette that no formal charges were pursued in that case and the records have been sealed for unspecified reasons. His Grandfather is a Californian Republican Assemblyman. The one spin I am seeing is that the suspect is the grandson of a “MAGA Republican”.

Regardless, my money is on a love angle. Shooter was hot for someone and got rejected. So, he came in to kill.

Hmm, maybe his history of mental illness and violence might give you a clue.
But you just said, “I don’t know” 3 times in succession, so, which is it?
You get credit for coming the closest to the needed conversation. Yes the discussion should be centered around those towns of Old Testament fame, Sodom and Gomorrah that were literally obliterated from existence for openly defying God’s law.
Part of the story takes place a good distance away as Lot’s wife unthinkingly looked back upon the scene and was turned into a pillar of salt so the story goes. Since that time no city has since been found on that same ground as the earlier two cities.
So don’t blame God for your condition, which is in your hands to change, if you chose the right doctor. Choose wisely. Or in the long run, suffer the consequences.
