Mick Mulvaney: Trump Is ‘The Only Republican Who Could Lose’
Breitbart ^ | 11/15/2022 | Pam Key

Posted on 11/16/2022 6:13:59 AM PST by ChicagoConservative27

Former acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney said Tuesday on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” that his old boss, former President Donald Trump is the only Republican who can’t win the 2024 general election.

After Trump announced his candidacy, Cooper asked, “Do you think this is good for the Republican Party?”

Mulvaney said, “No, I don’t. Because I think he’s the only Republican who could lose. If he wins in 2024, now he’s the candidate. He is the likely Republican nominee. Can he be beaten head-to-head by Ron Desantis or Tim Scott? Sure. But it’s not going to be a head-to-head race. There will be five or six other people in the race, and he’ll get the 35% that really support him, and under the winner-take-all primary system, he’ll be the nominee.

He knows nothing about elections, he just hangs around people who work hard and begs for a job.

The name of the game is to win. We need to replace those that will not vote for him this time with new voters. That’s really the bottom line.

Yes we had a huge wave in Florida because DeSantis took steps to insure election integrity last April. No so with the rest of the country.

Are we sure the young people voted in droves or were their ballots harvested?

In Mulvaney’s perfect world, only Klaus Schwab should be allowed to designate the GOP candidate.

That’s the problem with the Republican party - They lose before they even run. Now this bozo is adding fuel to the Democrats fire.

He doesn’t have a problem… he’s mostly right. Trump isn’t the only Republican that would definitely lose….. there are a few others. Trump will win the nomination and lose the general… Dems know it too. Watch how all the investigations subside… sadly, his ego will cost us the White House. I hate saying it but Trump hurt us in a few close national races… the fact that 70% of the candidates he endorsed won, requires looking deeper and then you realize there’s candidates would’ve one with or without his endorsement.

They may have been harvested. I think that’s legal in some states. why we don’t do it ourselves is beyond me. We should use the law and rules that are there.

Who gives a crap what loser Mick Mulvaney says? Two more years of Biden further destroying the nation will solidify a Trump win.

Trump got five million more votes his second time around.

Biden who sat in his basement for months, held those eerie rallies
with ten people spread out on a tennis court, got five million more
votes than “the One!” and Hillary ever got.

Trump didn’t crater. He became even more popular.

Did you know Obama’s second run, he got something
close to three million less votes?

Trump didn’t lose, and what took place against him
would take place against anyone else we ran.

He’s the guy we get behind and push.

Exactly. They’ll get around to investigating election malfeasance just as soon as Durham indicts Hillary. Or the military takes over. Or Trump is elected SoTH. Or something.

Only two Republicans will generate enough enthusiasm to bring out 50-70 million voters. Trump and DeSantis. Conservatives despise every other potential candidate being touted. You would be lucky to get 30 million voters out for Nikki Haley, Mike Pence or any other RHINO, GOPe POS.

There is a lot of time between now and the Primaries. Often times the supposed front runner fades. However, Trump or DeSantis will not win unless the GOP starts to play the game like the RATS. It's not about the voters, it's the vote counters. California GOP candidates had to fight fire with fire and practice the same ballot harvesting techniques as the RATS. It is past time to stop jacked up, drug addled, crime ridden RAT infested metro areas from deciding who leads this country.

So the best news yesterday was inflation “only” ROSE by some minuscule number and the RATS are crowing like they just beat the Great Depression. Maybe the massive use of oil reserves have kept those numbers down. Last month I complained that it cost nearly $180 for a small cart of food. Yesterday, same size cart, less stuff nearly $220. That minuscule rise in inflation translate one way statistically on paper and another way at the checkout in a store. I hope and pray all the idiots that voted for RATS over abortion learn the hard way it is about economics not social issues.

Trump Is ‘The Only Republican Who Could Lose’

I had said the exact same thing about Mitt Romney in 2012. I stated, millions of Republicans, and we nominated the ONLY one who could not credibly opposed Obamacare (as Romney had his own statewide version with an insurance mandate in MA).

Trump is going to have to change his emphases a bit (less about him personally, more about the issues), and I am still not convinced he can pick good assistants, but he deserves our backing to show that the left/Establishment cannot disqualify anybody through show trials and media manipulation. Trump exposes the quislings, courtiers, and Communists.

The point Mulvaney made is that Trump is polarizing, and that while nobody was excited to vote for Biden, a great many were eager to vote against Trump. And those same folks and perhaps more would be eager to do that again in 2024.

For me personally, that matches what I've seen and heard from people in real life. Maybe your experience is different. And I don't see Trump's support really expanding beyond what he got in 2020. If anything, I think he'll lose some.

Obviously, people may agree or disagree with that. That's just how I seeing it.

“””Yes we had a huge wave in Florida because DeSantis took steps to insure election integrity last April.”””

Election Integrity in Florida is the result of the work done by the Florida Governors and Legislatures since the November 2000 fiasco.

Jeb Bush and Rick Scott and Ron DeSantis each made important changes to Florida Election Laws.

Trump is intent on destroying the Republican party. He won’t win the nomination and then he will destroy the country by running as a third party candidate... He’s the Ross Perot of Ross Perot’s... Perot (a former Republican) single handedly brought about the Clinton presidency by running as a third party candidate against Clinton and Bush Sr.... If Bush had his votes, he would’ve won a second term.

Instead, we ended up with the Clinton era (or error).

It’s sad... And unfortunately Trump is thinking rationally... The question is... Has he ever thought rationally in his entire life? The answer is sadly... No.
