The NHL released a “diversity & inclusion” report on Monday declaring its commitment to implement hiring practices related to “racial demographics,” “gender identity,” and “sexual orientation.”
“We are working to better understand and accelerate our engagement across all layers of diversity – including nationality, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, and religion – and their nuances and intersections,” NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman wrote in the report’s introduction.

Affirmative action “diversity” hockey. That should be a big seller. They’ve been pimping homosexuality for the past few years. They screwed up NASCAR now the bass turds are moving on to hockey and the hosers are dumb enough to buy into the scam.

Got the idea from the NBA which got rid of enough black players to mirror the 14% demographic in the United States.

One of the greatest moments in modern NHL history took place during the 1995 Stanley Cup finals. The New Jersey Devils, who would eventually sweep the Detroit Red Wings in an epic upset, were involved in a dispute with the state about their lease at the Meadowlands Arena, and Bettman was allegedly pushing to get the team relocated to Nashville.
I have to give him credit for showing up at the arena and doing an interview on live TV. LOL.
It’s actually a much better game right now, but there is no character to the league anymore and there are no longer any iconic, colorful players who really enhance its appeal for serious fans.
