There were no GPS guided bombs during WWII.

Historically, US strategy was to try and take out massive war machine related plants/centers, wherever they could be located if we could.

The endeavor was deadly and costly to crews, who would on average not last past a very limited number of flights — Meaning even far less less accuracy when getting to and over a target.

It was so dangerous, most would not come home.

As well, the enemy would fully utilize all forms of civilian infrastructure.

And to Hiroshima and Nagasaki —

US and Allied bombing of the heavily defended plants of the Japanese war machine, resulted in hundreds of thousands of dead. There is a wide range. But due in part to plants being crammed into population centers was absolutely deadly.

You know this, but estimates of how many Japanese alone would die in a Japanese invasion run anywhere between 5.5 to 12 Million more people.

The estimated combined number of those tragically killed instantly, or as a direct result in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, has been placed by Japan at about 120,000 thousand.

I have served (multiple deployments, and dozens of missions) all over the Middle East, and across Africa, East Asia, and Latin America, and I/we have lost a lot of people trying not to hurt civilians, and often even getting between them and a sure death.

In my related job descriptions, I don’t even know Soldier, Marine, or operator who hasn’t been injured, or hasn’t lost friend’s who put themselves in harms way for civilians.

Unlike the myriad anti-American leftist Hollywood and academic gods have sought to portray and indoctrinate through schools, movies, and comedy, having also served within multiple Command C2’s, without reservation, while we absolutely will go after bad guys, our goals and SOP’s have always remained ZERO targeting of civilians.

I haven’t always agreed with it, but many times we will even seek to capture really bad folks, who have lived violently, and on occasion even killed, or been involved in killing Americans.

We still fight with a lot of rules, bu ut were very thankful when Trump allowed us to properly “react to contact” in a more reciprocal and decisive manner involving some of the worst. Even then, ZERO targeting of civilians, and everyone still running everything up the chain of command.

Immorality and leftism in all forms is pure evil and satanic. Leftist’s near chief satanicstrategy relies on carefully redacted context and truth. But this site is rapidly becoming a putrid and anti-American and leftist reverberating propaganda tool. And from what I am increasingly experiencing, offensive.
