These firms claimed they needed 75 years to release the information. The information needed to be released the moment it was created. The EUAs would be predicated on it.
These governments and these korporations knowingly violated the Nuremberg Code.
Forcing experimental treatment on individuals was specifically addressed in the permissible experiments section of the Nuremberg Code in 1947. (http://www.cirp.org/library/ethics/nuremberg/) and included some of the more salient points here.
"The great weight of the evidence before us to effect that certain types of medical experiments on human beings, when kept within reasonably well-defined bounds, conform to the ethics of the medical profession generally.
