A pair of Baltimore drug dealers threatened to shoot up the set of a new Natalie Portman show if they didn't stop filming on their block, but told production they could stay if they coughed up $50,000.

The incident went down around 4pm on Friday afternoon on the 200 block of Park Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn, when two men pointed a gun at a crewmember of the Apple TV+ show Lady in the Lake and made their demands.

According to the Baltimore Police Department, the 'locals' said they would 'come back later this evening [and] shoot someone' if they didn't stop filming, but would 'allow the production to continue' if they met their $50,000 demand.

'The leaders of the production decided to err on the side of caution and reschedule the shoot after they found another location,' police said.

Police confirmed the men were local drug dealers, according to The Baltimore Banner.

Once word gets out that Apple will pay thugs not to shoot them. They can expect certainly more will come.

A real producer would have those two “disappeared” before the day was over.

“an investigation into a murder in 1960s Baltimore”

ROFL!

It must’ve been the 1 murder that year!

Next up, a show about never bothering to investigate any of the 350 murders now.

Reminds me of what happened when filming a movie based on THE INFORMER(1935) in Harlem. Can’t remember the name of the film, but it was so dangerous the producers remade the sets on a Hollywood Sound state to complete the film.

Cameras and phones were “rolling” photo ID of these two moron druggie thugs who think they run things.

Provided that the Baltimore police and the inherited crooked/owned prosecutors from the idiot biotch who got removed couple of weeks ago by the “voters” haven’t picked up the skein of the PAYOLA from the druggers they do not arrest at all!!

Photos- arrests, imprisonment— that’s how it’s done, in cities and counties where the gang thug’s pols are not allowed to run anything.

A “live fire” gun battle adds “local flavor” to the movie production.

If the thugs start shooting, simply have your own people shoot back. Real bullets. Real blood.

The filming of The Warriors also had issues where they had to pay the neighborhood to control the crowd.

The show also stars Lupita Nyong'o playing 'hard-working woman juggling motherhood, many jobs, and a passionate commitment to advancing Baltimore's Black progressive agenda' ...

Must-see TV.

Drug dealers are calling the shots better than any Hollywood director ever could.
