A second effort to force Los Angeles County Dist. Atty. George Gascón into a recall election fizzled out Monday after officials determined the campaign to boot him from office failed to gain enough valid signatures.

He’s awesome. I think my favorite is Big Trouble in Little China.
I haven’t seen your flick you reference.
I’ll have to check it out.
This is absolutely NOT the peoples fault it is the fault of CORRUPT voting systems!! The state is DONE it will NEVER be able to be turned around NEVER!!
Used Cars is my favorite.

I
Think
They
Lie.
I haven’t seen that one either.
Now I have two flicks to watch...
failed to gain enough VALID signatures VALID being THOSE WHO THEY DEEM VALID.
Yep the ‘ol ‘valid signatures’ game.
Exactly that’s how the rats got the guy who had the best chance taking out the horrific Governor of Michigan.
I live in Orange County. This can only help property values here. God help Los Angeles.
They will never get enough “valid” signatures because his buddies are the ones reviewing the signatures. Best bet is to vote him out on a regular vote.
As easy as stealing an election in california. In this case, they just needed to invalidate enough to get the result they wanted.
This type of action is rapidly spreading to every state in this nation. Someday we’re gonna look back and remember how the constitution protected its people. We had freedoms and fair elections we had it good. And then we’re going to see these POS stealing election after election and having their Gestapo boot on our necks. If they indict Trump this country is done! He can‘t possibly fight and defeat this corrupt institution. They have every judge every jury you name it they’ve got it. Short of declaring war against them were cooked!
Outrageous
There was a far higher than usual invalidation rate for these signatures
A radio talk show said the rejection rate was around 22%. If that was a democrat election, the rejection rate would be about .5%. They obtained the most signatures for a recall, ever, they need to sue. At the same time, in a county of 11 million, they can’t get enough signatures, let them live in their squalor. (I just fled the state)
The petitioners thought they had a very comfortable margin. And they were very careful to ensure things were done right. Time to fight for every signature and get this in the ballot.
Really? Just whom are the incompetent team in charge of getting legitimate signatures on the petition? Maybe a team that gets a dollar a signature?
Well said, Yoga. Most friends we know in California want to get out, too! Looks like a crazy state.
DO NOT miss “Used Cars.”
Hilarious. A classic comedy.
I’d be willing to bet that all 200,000 voters whose signatures were rejected WILL show as having successfully voted in November. Counting every vote is only a handy slogan for Democrats to achieve another steal.
The uniparty cooperative effort to provide voters the illusion of choice is rapidly being exposed. But I’m starting to think they don’t really care if this comes out in the open since they know nothing will be done about it. So, why keep up the pretenses?
