Dr. Mehmet Oz, Pennsylvania’s Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, visited the Pittsburgh region Tuesday to argue that government regulations disadvantage American businesses — and boost competitors such as China.
On a day that later featured a "National Night Out" appearance in McCandless, Oz also expressed support for the "PACT Act," a measure to provide free health care to veterans exposed to toxic chemicals during their military service.
“A lot of inexpensive products are made by competitors,” Oz told supporters after a tour of a Crescent Township pan manufacturer. “We don’t allow American industry to thrive. We shackle ourselves.” While Oz touted American-made goods, he also criticized House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan. That trip was strongly opposed by the Chinese, who claim the island as their own. Oz said he worried China could retaliate by shutting down facilities that make products Americans rely on, such as lithium batteries.
“When Nancy Pelosi flies off to Taiwan to make a statement, they could, if they wanted, shut that down,” he said.
Oz also voiced support for legislation that would provide health care for veterans exposed to toxic burn pits, Agent Orange and other carcinogens. Hours before the bill cleared final passage in the Senate, Oz said during a brief interview with WESA, “These folks risked their lives.

Of all the things about EVs, the incredible marketing operation/PsyOps and the corrupt power of government to move a market, that are being dumped on the people, one thing I really don’t see is the fact that the Chinese control, what, over 80% of the raw material to make the batteries.
The Chinese make an EV that just pushed them past Tesla as the worlds #1 EV manufacturer.
Tesla and Musk have stated that they’re actually reverting back to old battery technology as the components are getting harder to come by, more expensive and the fact that the child slave labor being used to mine the metal has been exposed. Not very ESG or DEI to have a 10yr old African boy working a lithium mine and getting crushed by a bulldozer.

The more Mohammed Oz talks, the less Pennsylvanians will vote for him. Thanks to the elitist Sean Hannity and Greg Kelly for taking out the only real Pennsylvanian who had a chance in defeating the Fetterman monster.

I totally understand the feelings about Oz.
But the way I see it, if he gets elected, and understands that the only reason that he did win was because of Trump supporters, he will still be beholden to them.
It’s not the ideal situation, but it beats the alternative.

Before jumping into the Republican race for US Senate in Pennsylvania, Dr. Mehmet Oz regularly supported health insurance mandates and promoted Obamacare, taking positions that are unusual for a Republican candidate.
Well does Oz have a history of saying things against Trump, like Romney has?
