The Democrats have gone so far to the Leftward extreme that they've almost fallen off the political spectrum and Cindy can't understand why the opposition party (the GOP) has had to change to balance the scales?
We really did not change.
We still support the same things we always supported....life, second amendment, fiscal control.
The left has gone from “safe, rare and legal” to infanticide, from firearm restrictions to confiscation and from fiscal sanity to unlimited spending.

Sorry, I haven’t seen any evidence of this. Now, I voted for Trump in 2020. I celebrate Dobbs every day. I’m on your side in general. But to me, the extreme left is defined by one simple proposition: redistributing the wealth.
(Well, what else are taxes, right? We try to keep them as low as possible not just out of greed, but also from principle.)
But if you can find a proposal the Democrats are MOSTLY FOR - not some small group of Democrats, but MOST of them - that redistributes significant wealth, I’d like to hear it. I haven’t so far. Obamacare is over and done with. What’s been PROPOSED for the future?
Come to think of it, how would anyone discover a principle most Democrats are for? I can’t imagine you could possibly discover any such thing. I don’t think there is any such thing. The unions want one thing, the teachers something else, the so called blacks a third, the socialists have their own agenda... they’re not all together on anything at all. I think.
Well, I’m sure they’d all like to eliminate racism, if they could find a way to do it. I don’t think we have to worry about THAT any time soon.
I am ashamed I had to vote for McCain. He lied to us to get our votes.
