Former President Donald Trump said Friday that the Supreme Court overturned the Roe v. Wade decision establishing a national right to abortion because he was able to install three nominees on the bench during his term in office.
Mr. Trump called the ruling “the biggest win for life in a generation” and said it was “only made possible because I delivered everything as promised.”
“I did not cave to the Radical Left Democrats, their partners in the Fake News Media, or the RINOs who are likewise the true, but silent, enemy of the people,” the former GOP president said in a statement issued by his political action committee.
Mr. Trump nominated three of the court members in the majority in Friday’s ruling: Justices Neil M. Gorsuch, Brett M. Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett.
They joined Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr., a George W. Bush appointee, and Justice Clarence Thomas, a George H.W. Bush appointee, in striking down Roe. Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr., another George W. Bush pick, sided with the others in upholding Mississippi’s 15-week abortion ban, but said he would not have overruled all of Roe at this point.

Say what you want. That is why he didn’t get re-elected. I wanted him re-elected and there are millions of people who agree with what he did but think he’s an asshole.

If you ever want to see how stupid people are in public, go to the Twittsewer and read some of the comments people make in public. These are the people who think they're somehow "the equal" of Trump just because they were born into American society.

He lives in a completely different world than I do, and I don't pretend to have aspirations to that world. That's why my rich uncle Trump doesn't bother me.

Its impossible to argue with him. He’s right.
He’s been proven right about one thing after another in the last year and a half.
Republican Pols have been betraying pro-life voters for decades now.
And it took Donald Trump, of all people, to actually follow through and appoint justices who will actually follow the constitution.
Have to give the man credit where credit is so clearly due.
My attitude towards Trump is that I don’t look a gift horse in the mouth. And Trump was truly a gift.
What other President worked so hard against R v W? None. With all the defeats to hand the Left this was the best. They have been rallying around the flag for dead children for almost 50 years. How grotesque.
Their ideological flag has finally been knocked down. Contrary to their whining they can still get abortions, just depends on the state.
