Friday on CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” pollster Frank Luntz issued a stark warning over the upcoming July 4 weekend.

According to Luntz, “we are 13 days away from an absolute explosion on inflation” because people are going to realize just how expensive groceries and gas have become.

Messenger aside, I read his article earlier this morning and figure he is likely right—we’ll have the July data out about the 4th but regardless, everyone will see the reality when they buy gas, picnic and camping supplies, etc. The costs will be sobering for most people. Hey, talking about sobering, how have alcohol prices faired since Biden moved into the White House?
