Henry Kissinger said that Ukraine must concede territory to Russia to end the war, and warned the West that a humiliating defeat for Russia could result in wider destabilisation.

The legendary statesman, now 98, made the comments in a conference at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland Monday

It's one of the best opinion pieces I have read, so being 98 has its' pluses.

It says Putin and Russia have the high ground while we are in the muck. Very true imo.

“Russia gambled and lost, they should not receive territory from this.”

___________________________________________

Your whole comment is ludicrous. But to say Russia has lost is even more so.

Do you realize their military is nearly the same size as the USA’s right?

Russia didn’t start these wars, you’re just told that by the media’s propaganda that they started these wars and you take the easy route and believe it.

There’s a ton of historical facts outside the MSM and lots of it on this site and even posted on this article’s thread, yet you stick to your instructed script and don’t dare delve into the real past regarding Ukraine/Russia/CIA/Soros/Democrat/RINO State actors.

You sit back and parrot, “Russia has started two wars of aggression against Ukraine and violated multiple treaties it has signed.”

What a simple-minded thought process.

Your thinking Russia is winning?

Putin now lives in a nuclear bunker, because he fears for the remainder of his life and is considering taking the world with him. He believes that if he cannot take Ukraine, that he should nuke the world. That’s crushing it in your view?

Over the last month, the Russians have lost or retreated from more land than they have gained. That’s loosing ground. You think that’s Crushing it?

Just the facts bro? Those are the facts, and even more facts. The Russians say they have lost 1/3 of their ground forces (60K) people. The Russian generals have said they can’t replace them. The Russians FULLY expect 1 million very angry and western armed Ukrainians in the next 8 weeks. This isn’t western propaganda, it’s what the Russians are saying. That’s crushing it in your view?

I suspect the Japanese saw a string of victories after their attack on Pearl Harbor and thought they were crushing it, like you see with Russia. No, Russia needed to win quickly and decisively, and they have failed. They should cut a deal, give up land and/or make reparations before it’s gets uglier for them and the world.

Thanks to him we have china.

Nixon and Kissinger opened diplomatic relations with China. Which was a great move.

Clinton opened up economic relations with China. Within 10 years American manufacturing was destroyed.

I hate Kissinger for a lot more than that.

And...he got bullied everywhere he went. Don’t kid yourself. It has nothing to do with being Jewish.

Globalists want Putin appeased.

The Putinati are a laugh riot today. They've spent weeks foaming at the mouth about Klaus Schmidt and the Davos dorks. And now they marvel at the deep, deep land for peace wisdom of a 100 year old WEF corpse puppet.

Let me start by saying I have no dog in this fight, but I have been watching the maps closely, as we are seeing old fashion war on a micro scale.

Yesterday the Ukrainians retreated along pretty much the entire eastern and southern fronts. Now if you have a home team in this fight, and it is the Ukes, then it looks fairly bad. But in all honesty, they needed to do this days ago imho. They were slowly being surrounded, and it was time to pull back and regroup. So while it may sound bad for the Ukes, it is actually some of the first wise moves I have seen from them tactically.

As for Russia losing? Hard to say that, as with a smaller force, they have managed to outmaneuver the Ukes and force a withdrawal.

To get a clear picture, without all the MSM spin, one must watch both the wests map and the russians map. They are really close in nature with one or the other being maybe a day or so behind.

Now that it looks like the Ukes are starting to understand how to correctly operate (retreat is not necessarily a bad thing in war) then they may finally be able to set up a strong position. We shall see as time goes on. But those are the facts on the ground as of yesterday as near as I can tell.

Again, someone willing to destroy the world to get his way would be satisfied if we give him what he wants THIS TIME, and we are not foolishly ignorant of both history and human nature deluding ourselves thinking we won’t eventually HAVE have to confront him after we have made him stronger?

This event will end either in a nuclear exchange or a negotiated settlement. I don’t like Kissinger anymore than the rest of the globalists but he is correct there will have to be a negotiated settlement for this to end. Those spoiling for a war with Russia are being flippant and think it will be Iraq or Desert Storm all over again and they couldn’t be more wrong. The Ukraine is not a strategic point for US national interests so why should we intervein?

I detest Putin, but to think the Ukraine is going to defeat Russia is wishful and reckless thinking without NATO intervention and that will lead to a nuclear exchange down the road.

All the globalists, deep state, media and military industrial complex, the usual RINO warmongers and strangely some conservatives who should know better are all rah-rah for a war with Russia. All these people except the conservatives listed above hate the USA and we are supposed to throw in with them—again in another war? Come on people think, don’t live on raw Cold War emotions, the Cold War is over. China is the true enemy of the USA.

It would be equally foolish to back that person into a corner to the point that they think that they have nothing to lose by destroying the world.

Putin won't be in power forever, but he still has a nuclear ace up his sleeve that Hitler didn't have.
