“I realize you don’t really know Buckley,” Susie Carlson wrote via email in 2014 to Hunter Biden, a Georgetown graduate and the son of the then-vice president. “Maybe you could meet or speak to him and he could send you a very brief resume with his interests and grades attached.”
Tucker Carlson offered that his son was a good squash player and an excellent fly fisherman. “He loves Washington for all the right reasons, I think,” Carlson added, “and really wants to go to school here.” When Biden agreed to write a letter of recommendation, Susie Carlson added a heap of praise: “Tucker and I have the greatest respect and admiration for you. Always!”

I have to look at my business background as I judge Tucker on this. In my home town, where I spent most of my career in construction management, there was still some active mob connections. I had a project that I worked on when I was young, that I spent time and influence trying to get a Plannned Zoning usage approved.
During the promotion of this recreational project, I met the people with the Teamsters Central States Pension Fund that were providing the financing and helped those from outside the city tour around to understand the location and viability of the project. This included spending a couple of nice days with Allen Dorfman who had been brought to town by Sal Capra a city councilman.
Like many youngsters in business in the late 60s / early 70s I thought the “mob” was largely defanged. I did not realize I was facilitating one of the biggest mob moneymen in the entire country. I thought he as a decent guy.

I imagine many people in D.C. social circles - where media folks and the pols and their families mix - knew the Biden’s and the vast majority of those acquaintences did not know the sordid side of Huner Biden’s life. Like his father, I imagine Hunter had one side that casual social acquaintences saw while he kept his sordid side known only to an intimate circle.

That poster Smokinjoe, has a big problem. Seems whoever or whatever just wants a protracted fight. Ever wonder or just get curious; I mean its midterms upcoming in a bloodbath year for the bad guys. And just like clockwork out come all the negative stories posted here on President Trump. Then when the Never Trumpers start getting called out suddenly we have the ultra conservative, chip on their shoulder, poster who wants to engage in personal attacks if a certain narrative isn’t being followed? Odd. Whoever is behind this needs to learn that Conservatives cherish the freedom to think independently. Also that Conservatives may argue and passionately disagree but rarely do true Conservatives stoop to engaging in personal assaults when a differing view is offered. But doesn’t this seem to be the bias the left holds against Conservatives? Interesting and I could be way off base but I agree with Steve Bannon; There are no conspiracy theories but there are no coincidences.
